What to Expect on Your Visit

The Five Step Process

Step One:  A consultation to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential care options.  This initial visit is designed to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

Step Two:  A complete chiropractic examination and functional assessment test.  Other standard neurological, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well to get a full idea of the condition.  X-Rays will only be ordered if necessary.  We work with Palmetto Imaging when needed.

Step Three:  Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, we will discuss in detail all of the findings and answer any questions you may have.  We will also discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers.  We will provide the best care for your needs.

Step Four: The Treatment.  Depending on your personal needs, we will perform chiropractic manipulations to the spine and extremities.  We will then follow with soft tissue (muscle, tendon, and ligament) work that will help stabilize the joints.  This will also help relieve pain and tension.

Step Five: Prior to leaving, we will suggest a wellness program to incorporate into your daily life, including certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches.  If you wish, we will work with you to create healthy habits and routines to better your overall wellness and lifestyle.
IMPORTANT:
The day before your appointment, you will receive a confirmation phone call or text.  The day of your appointment, you will receive a verification phone call prior to us coming.

*If you need to reschedule please do so at or before your confirmation phone call.
